Artistic Vision Unveiled

American Expressionism Post Wars dives into the depths of the human experience, showcasing the raw emotions of an artist who combines dark expressionism with personal trauma. At times you will see light within the darkness. A path to find balance. Each piece is a window to the inner mental states of the creator, offering viewers a profound journey through the depths of emotion and psyche. Through this unique collection, we aim to ignite powerful sentiments and foster a sense of connection within the art community and beyond.

Gary J. Houle Jr is a mixed media artistist (B. 1970) from Northampton, Ma. Currently living in CT.  Graduated from Ct State Community College- Mancherster with a Visual Arts AA. He is now  attending Univeristy of Hartford's Arts School for his BFA. Gary's concentration is Printmaking and Painting.

Gary served in the United States Army Infantry with 2-27 Wolfhounds, 3rd BTC 25th I.D. "Tropic Lightning" out of Hawaii from 2008-2013. He deployed to Iraq 2008 and Afghanistan, KunarProv. 2011. Gary was medicaly retired in 2013. As a combat veteran Gary's PTSD and TBI have a large impaact on his artwork. His relentless pursuit of his skill set is for his own mental health. Gary likes to say, " my demons go to art therupy."
